Cleaning dead corner area of outer floating roof oil tank and its explosion-proof measures

there are some easily ignored local spaces in the floating roof oil tank, in which oil and gas gather. It is difficult to remove/combustion or explosion accidents will occur in case of open fire

I. explosion proof electricity in the dead corner area of the outer floating roof oil tank cleaning

1. The area in the floating plate strut

the oil drain port at the lower end of the floating plate strut is very small (see Figure 1 (a)). If the experimental machine cannot be blocked by oil sludge, the oil in the strut cannot be discharged through the notch. Due to the small oil and gas space in the pillar, if a pillar is hot, it can only cause a small range of fire or slight explosion. In order to prevent the oil and gas in the pillar from volatilizing into the tank, the oil drain gap at the bottom of the pillar can be widened in design to eliminate the risk of being blocked by oil sludge% or more holes can be opened along the pillar (see Figure 1 (b)) to make it ventilated. Provisions have been made for the performance improvement of power battery products

2. The explosion-proof electrical floating plate in the primary sealing area moves up and down with the rise and fall of the liquid level, so that the sealing capsule is damaged due to friction with the tank wall. The damaged oil is mainly suitable for novice entrepreneurs and users with relatively small output to enter the sealing capsule and be adsorbed by the sealing packing% to form an oil-gas space at the place where the packing is not filled (see Figure 2). For the primary sealing area, the general purging and dry cleaning effect is very poor. The oil and gas in the sealed capsule flows and accumulates into the tank, increasing the concentration of combustible gas in the tank, and will burn or explode in case of maintenance sparks.

3. The space between the primary seal and the secondary seal is conducive to reducing the evaporation loss of oil products domestically, but a large oil and gas space is formed between the primary seal and the secondary seal (see Figure 3). The general steam purging of oil and gas in this space is difficult to drive it out, and the effect of dry cleaning method is worse
